in college, my dad earned an economics degree... since orange pilling him, his entire world view has shifted because he now realizes exactly what charlie is saying... what most people don't realize is that the indoctrination isn't just taking place in the economics dept.

The same thing has been happening here in Europe for decades.
And if you confront the professor with relevant content, you get labeled a bad student.
Absolute madness 🤯

I hear you... the keynesian fiat masters rule the world... hopefully bitcoin will help us kick them to the curb.
Yeah cause without the prescribed understanding of the world, not theories or ideals, but how the actual world works in reality, is why you study what you study.
I did finance, economics, stats, etc. as well, and you learn what you learn so that you can work in the system.
Imagine learning other theory and they going to work in a system that doesn't even use it.
Qualifications matter.
Nothing is stopping any economist from coming up with new theories or thesis. Economic theory is working on past data trying to predict the future.
As I say, it's astrology for men, same way as looking at charts is.
You gotta unlearn what they learned you to get btc.
Fools gold?
