Yeah cause without the prescribed understanding of the world, not theories or ideals, but how the actual world works in reality, is why you study what you study.
I did finance, economics, stats, etc. as well, and you learn what you learn so that you can work in the system.
Imagine learning other theory and they going to work in a system that doesn't even use it.
