⚠️ PLEASE HELP ⚠️ My artwork “4th Halving Block 3/3”, which was to be shown at the #btc24 @The Bitcoin Conference art exhibition, has disappeared. We must now assume that it has been stolen. The auction already started via @Scarce.City had to be canceled. Please share this post so that it might be returned after all. It is the representation of the 4th halving block with stainless steel surface, backlit. 52x52x5 cm, 4kg. I still have a last glimmer of hope that it will turn up somehow, ANY HELP would be appreciated! Here are a few more photos: Best, Kanuto

Having your art stolen is an honor. I know you will suffer some short term loss but this will inevitably exhume prestige. What was the auction winning bid at the time the auction was canceled?

Unfortunately! The piece has arrived at the warehouse, there is proof of it. Everything has been searched four times in the last week, but it can no longer be found.
If anyone needed proof that Bitcoin Magazine's conferences are no pleb events anymore, here it is. 😩

Super sad. In Bitcoin meetup and conference I have been, I appreciate the fact that people trust each other, art piece are exposed for everyone to enjoy, so stuff for sales are just on a table with a LN QR to pay them, I was even at an empty booth with pile of hardware wallet used for demos that nobody touched. If this spirit goes away and we need to start locking, watch and don't trust anyone, it will not be the same spirit anymore. I hope you will find it back!

It can now be assumed that the piece was lost/stolen during the preparations in the warehouse. There is evidence that it was there. Personally, I find it hard to believe that a work of art that size, made of steel and weighing several kilos, would simply be lost.
For some of us, outside is not dangerous like the US. Maybe it’s YOU who should go outside (the US) a bit more. For example, Japan. No way this got stolen in Japan
Nazis stole art. Funded how much destruction? History always repeats. Why humanity is shocked 😳… beyond my comprehension
SAME. Same. Maybe we need BEE to send some scouts out for this. PECK around to find it. Probably
I finished funding the bounty via geyser today and will probably have to accept that the piece really is gone. Thanks to all supporters though, I will now concentrate on new things and look to the future. image View quoted note →
