I thought @fiatjaf wanted to keep the number of NIPs below 100...?
I spent 10 minutes trying to find an unused number under 100 and gave up because it was wasting my time
100 is rather arbitrary.
Is the format of the "r" tag defined somewhere?
I believe it was originally defined in @fiatjaf's web commenting nip, then clients started to add it to any note when it contains a link, including damus.
So if someone links to some article, a browser plugin that pulls notes for that article would see your comment from nostr.
