Her realizing that her cash savings is just slowly but surely losing value vs the short term volatility and long term upside of bitcoin made it click for her.

My fiancé realizing that her cash savings is just slowly but surely losing value vs the short term volatility and long term upside of bitcoin made it click for her.
No matter what makes it click, all that matters is that it does. Oh, and I’m sorry things have been popping up and the audiobook keeps making bottom of the priority list

Exactly! And no worries, I have two editing projects in line so I’m pretty busy!

Exactly this. I think I orange pulled one of my clients by framing it this way. And that diversifying into other fiat options is completely missing the point of why bitcoin is important and more than just “number go up”. I’ve noticed the human rights angle really helps people understand bitcoin. It’s often seen as a way to quickly make money and trade like stocks or crypto tokens. But once you tell people that its adoption rate is super high in places with hyperinflation (“developing” nations) it makes them pay attention.

Yes. Exactly. You have to avoid terms like “free markets” or “capitalism” but once they learn about use cases for bitcoin in oppressive regimes, they start to come your way a bit. It’s funny because my dad is a socialist, he and I agree and identify a lot of the same problems but he can’t describe what his socialist utopia would look like he says, “Well, you and your community get to decide!” And I’m sitting there thinking, “You mean free markets?!” But I say that and he starts disagreeing. It’s like the words I use are what he’s reacting to more than my ideas.
