Only a couple Nests happen a week. No very active. It's easy to start one inside Nostur and soon other apps. Hopefully that makes them more popular again.

Hopefully. Last I heard they were working on an API right? Would be awesome to have Nests integrated into more clients.
There is an API. Nostur has it implemented. Damus, Primal, and Amethyst will add support in the future. Snort and Iris has support to join and listen now, but not create.
