Today I found out thanks to @npub1p47w...2qfl's https://monero.eco/ tool that you can run a monero node, mine, and have a wallet all locally on the same android phone.
So you have two setups, a retirement/home HODL setup mining 24/7, and an out and about spend and replace hot wallet setup.
