I was planning to buy a pixel simply so I could test out Graphene. I may wait.
Lol, tbh I'm happy with the 9a. I listen to podcasts and music when commuting. Last month my iPhone 13 mini stopped playing audio. Had the 9a for several days, it still has 49% battery left which is mad. Going without a sim and use the iPhone for calls. Still trying out different setups and profiles for now. Your spare phone will come in handy for trips or backups hot wallets 💪

Finally destiny has rewarded our patience Prepare the armada, we shall use the old ways ⚔️ Praise #Satoshi
I wonder which android OEM they're picking? Google pixel was picked when google pixel has high level security.
This should have happened long ago. Being locked to a company that doesn’t care about privacy is blasphemous. I understand why, but glad to see others step up security and encourage growth
This new phone is still said to take 1.5 years. And Pixels are still supported, so don't worry
lol I did, they’re saying it may be1.5 years before a potential release. I got a refurbed 9a pixel on Saturday. Installed Graphene and created different profiles. Migrating apps and wallets was super fast from the iphone. Been 3 days and I still have 49% 🔋left 🤯

I think they decided to switch to grapheneos, not only to differentiate themselves from the competition, but also because both politicians and businessmen who, if they use that system, do not want that system to remain in the Google environment because if they continue with the pixels, at any time they could block the installation of other systems on their devices, causing even the governments themselves to be exposed to the bulnerabilities that Google is causing.

a way perhaps would be to know who is buying the components that are necessary to support that operating system
Nothing phones don't have flagship snapdragon chips. GrapheneOS is planning to use the latest snapdragon 8 elite gen 5 which meets its security requirements. So I doubt if it's nothing. OnePlus and Motorola could be possible
Very interesting. Looking forward to seeing how this OS pans out.
especially due to the pixel 10 taking away sim tray, i dont use standard sim anyways , data only esim is better but still dont like companies telling me what to use
