There was a time when I was studying, that a friend pointed out that I had started saying sorry constantly for everything. I don't have much tips on how did I worked on this (I think I'm still working on it). I think that just by making it more conscious, the behavior started to improve.
Also, realizing that there is honor in not apologizing for things you don't really regret helped me... I have a deep search of being the most honest and consistent I can...
There is something humbling about apologizing and owning responsibility... the thing might be to identify if the situation really deserves that...

I liked the idea about honor here—great tip! TBH, the part about being more conscious now makes me feel like I’m saying sorry even more 😅
