Ready to hear about low time preference in Art?
One crucial part of getting this piece ready for the collector, is to properly varnish it. It has to be fully dry to be able to varnish....
When I say fully dry, I mean it must be at least 6 months after you finished the painting.
These are the things, rituals maybe, that prepared me to embrace Bitcoin with welcoming arms ๐

I'm working on a collaborative piece with @Rebel Money that has me so excited. We have put so much thought, time, skills & more into it.
I'm so proud of what we created, that just the thought of it being real, a material piece in this world, makes me smile.
I'm sorry to have written an "announcement of the announcement" sort of post, but I needed to share my feelings and excitement even though I can't share any more details of the piece yet ๐
The only heads up I can give is that it is a sculpture, it is a series of 21 (12 have already been claimed, we thank the collectors for their trust), and that it has so much symbolism!

New work in progress... first step, drawing. Translate a tridimensional model into simple lines, find every element in the canvas.

One of the goals of this paintings was to push myself, to try out new stuff and to get out of my comfort zone... that might be why I like them so much ๐ค๐จ

Went jogging with Siena ๐ ... I didn't run much this past month, and I really missed it. Feels good to do it again.

MOKA POT SERIES, oil on canvas
Four small-format oil paintings, made from life. They come from a simple place: to exist, to practice, to sharpen the craft.
Painting from life means translating a shifting, three-dimensional reality into a two-dimensional surface. It means facing a subject that never stays still. The light changes, time moves, and you arrive differently each day, sometimes with energy, sometimes tired, sometimes focused, sometimes distracted. All of that finds its way into the painting.
That constant movement, that instability, is what ultimately gives them life.
These works were made with the support of my friend and amazing chilean painter Luna Morgana, who has been an important guide in my return to oil painting. Thank you.
* The first one (Moka Pot I) is no longer available.

Looking through a lens can help clear the noise and see things very differently.
Is one of my favorite things of photography.
Peer-to-Peer oil painting no longer available ๐
Thankful and blessed to have the best collectors.
