Late November bee sting (assumed as I never saw the predator). My hand is blowing up.
I don't think I've survived a year without a sting in quite a many years. My bodies reaction seems to worsen every time.

Could be a spider this time of year. I got a brown recluse bite on my foot once and couldn't get a shoe on for a week. I still have scarring and a depression 2 years later.
Yeah that crossed my mind as well and very likely given the way I got it.
On mine you could see both punctures from the fangs, though I read that isn't always true. I also had the textbook swelling all around but a depression right at the bite.
They cause local necrosis, that is why you get a depression right over the bite. Biggest risk is infection from the dead tissue. I'm sure you are avoiding doctors but if you get track marks, veins changing colors, you need medical attention ASAP. That is the sign of infection spreading back to your heart.
Yeah I think I'm in the clear from all that. We've got natural herbal salves for these things. I think swelling has already started to decline.
