On mine you could see both punctures from the fangs, though I read that isn't always true. I also had the textbook swelling all around but a depression right at the bite. They cause local necrosis, that is why you get a depression right over the bite. Biggest risk is infection from the dead tissue. I'm sure you are avoiding doctors but if you get track marks, veins changing colors, you need medical attention ASAP. That is the sign of infection spreading back to your heart.

Yeah I think I'm in the clear from all that. We've got natural herbal salves for these things. I think swelling has already started to decline.
