I remember when at least when you paid to have your taxes done it was tax deductible for the next year. They even eliminated that.
I used to do my own taxes and it is now so complicated that I've given up. It cost too much to pay someone else and it's too complicated for me to do it on my own.
It's a known fact that when taxes are easy to do and less expensive the IRS always got more revenue. It's so much convoluted bull crap. Your money is getting front run by the money printer, your tax is a punishing for earning. Dismantle it all.

At this point the income tax needs to be halted immediately. The mishandling of American taxpayer money that is being laid bare is beyond comprehension.

Either fill out EXEMPT and stop filing (they haven't chased non-filers since 2016, from a report, does not surprise me) or go through dontbeaslave.com's process (more extensive). I won't say exactly what I've done, but I've done it since ~2000 and never paid wage tax afterwards.
