I always thought the goal was to remove centralized control of money, not to prevent states from having anything at all to do with money or the use of it. That is goofy.
There is a problem with people defining their terms as well. "Separation of money and state" can obviously mean multiple things and people should always define terms when discussing philosophical, political, legal, or similar topics.
I never got into Bitcoin thinking that only an approved group of purists would use it.
But, I also don't know what he means here because it's vague.
