On Nostr you don’t really “grow” the way you do on traditional social media. Here you build presence, not numbers.
The most honest advice I can give you is: stay authentic and stay consistent. Share your process, not only the finished paintings. People connect with artists when they see the path, not just the outcome.
A few practical tips:
-pick one or two clients and use them well (you don’t need to be everywhere)
-use simple, consistent tags so people can find you
-interact with other artists: comment, zap when you can, build real connections
-if you sell your work, always link to your own independent space (website, shop, personal page): don’t rely only on platforms
Nostr isn’t a fast showcase, it’s more like a garden: it grows slowly, but the roots go deep. If you stay, and you share honestly, the connections will come.

I love the garden analogy… I’m learning the ropes but it’s a huge relief to focus on building a presence rather than chasing follower counts. Thanks for the feedback … I’ll definitely take your advice to show more behind-the-scenes work. I like your style very much btw… it’s intentional and resonates with me! I look forward to seeing more of it and to following your progress!
Thanks for this helpful advice. I also like the garden analogy. 😃
Some great tips 👌🏻
I loathe the growth hacker. 🥀
