It’s great for the kind of people who have literally never had to deal with oppression to be all u in arms about anything that dates question THEIR ‘freedoms’. Unfortunately, I don’t know the truths of everything but I sure know that people who generalise and want to really enforce this binary ‘us and them’ mindset instead of trying at least a bit t empathise with others, are also part of the political propagating problems

But I think you’re really overlooking the nuances and things like if there literally was a potentially fatal disease ripping apart the world, wouldn’t it be kind to try to ensure people are safe? People have to work on the information they have. I believe people with more progressive perspectives have this out of a place of care usually, I know I do. Rather than blaming ‘leftists’ for everything perhaps aim that towards those who potentially hijack agendas which otherwise have a lot of moral merit or misrepresent information

Covid is a really poor example for your argument. They lied their asses off the whole time and even if covid was as bad as they claimed, there are hundreds of years of "public health" experience that says lock downs don't work, respiratory bugs mutate too fast for a vaccine, you don't vaccinate going into a pandemic, and mRNA is known to be unsafe because you cannot control what cells are high jacked and how much antigen they produce.
