New from #Mutable – it’s NOTE ☢️ NUKE! For when you really, really, want something eradicated. Note Nuke lets you manually publish a kind 5 deletion event for any Nostr note, blasting it across a wide range of relays for maximum coverage. Absolute deletion can’t be guaranteed because of how Nostr relays work, but this should get you pretty close. I mean, you’ve got nothing to lose by trying, right? (Bookmark this now for when you realize you need it later.)

It’s a deletion request for the event itself to be removed from the relay. So if honored, it would be removed completely for everyone (on that relay).

I see. I assume it only potentially works for one's own posts though. I can't just run around deleting everyone's posts. I opened the link and didn't see such an explanation, just nips mentioned, which I didn't research before asking

Yes it’s part of nip 5, the events that can be deleted are only ones signed by the same pubkey making the delete request
