Still reflecting on and inspired by @HODL v-log today about compounding!! A great way to see the impacts of compounding is with the skill of food preparation. Today you might not know how to make lasagna, so you look up a recipe and go to the store for marinara sauce, ground beef, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and lasagna noodles. Now once you have this recipe down you can compound your skills. Start by making your own marinara sauce. Once you have that down now you might make your own cheese. Then you want to make your own noodles from store bought flour. Next thing you know you could be milling your own flour and processing your own ground beef. You grow your tomatoes and herbs on your land. Fast forward and you have your own milk cow and are raising cows for meat. You grow your own wheat berries. Today you learn how to make lasagna with store bought ingredients, 10 years from now you might be making lasagna from the food you have grown on your own land. This is only possible because of compounding skills!
