Something I’ve learned with watching friends start a business and starting one myself, is keep your costs as low as you possibly can when starting out
Buying a shit ton of product inventory, commercial equipment, rental space, etc.. can really drown you right off the bat. It adds much more stress to ‘make it work’, and it gives you much less room for patience and play
Keep that overhead low as f, give yourself some runway, and then once you’ve passed the market test, take more on

And don’t ever hold yourself back with the ‘toolbox fallacy’
Buy as you go and even split the price of tools with clients if they’re amenable (especially if the other option is renting equipment)
