Jesus isn't one or the other. Scripture actually refers to Him as prophet, priest and King. The ppl Refer to him as prophet here because they recognized that role.

Appreciate you chiming in :) my counter to that is these are all human titles for lack of a better word. Why not just call him God from the get go? Was there some confusion on what he was?? Human or man?
