Core-v30 is the one upcoming that is making the change. All current mainline nodes use an op_return filter. this is the first time in bitcoin's history that an alternative client reached 20%. This exceeds the 15% of the UASF.

@Des Imoto マキシ There are far more nodes like mine that run Bitcoin anonymously and are not tracked in these numbers. My guess is that the percentage of anonymous Knots vs anonymous Core node runners is somewhat similar to the public node figures. But you are only able to see the tip of the iceberg here. 😉

No real feedback other than it was a referendum, which is good, and a very close call. At least it was decided the right way.

I think this is a perspective where you perhaps have not extrapolated deeply enough. Some people run older nodes of core because they choose to for very specific reasons.
A big story. Something I am guilty of not paying enough attention to I’ve been working on the assumption that fucking with consensus is really hard This proves that Plenty of incentive aligned legends out there fighting my corner
Where is the data from? Can you trust the statistics? I mean, how many nodes are using tor?
