GM New phone desktop. This is the entire home experience, there are no other screens. I'm instantly so much calmer and almost completely uninterested in looking at the thing at all. Seeyalater image

I've been running FUTO keyboard so, glass houses and all that. Does Olauncher ask for network? Not even asking was what convinced me that switching keyboards would be OK. I ran KISS launcher before GrapheneOS and generally liked it but it was a bit crashy.
I didn't notice if it asked for network - but that might be an artifact of how it was installed? I installed it from ZapStore. I guess if it had network when I launched it the first time it must have asked, unless I have some defaults set up I am unaware of. it had network and sensors at first and I removed both and it works fine.
I can confirm (since I just installed it from zap store) that network and sensors were on by default. No prompt.
Decided to give it a try. I like it so far. Wish I could do more than 8 or folders on my home. It looks like they offer a pro version that does but it is only on play store and has data sharing listed.
wait folders?! you mean apps, right? yea I'm not doing Pro. and I've been appreciating being forced to trim down to 8... makes me consider things a bit differently. "what is most important on this device for me, and how do I feel about that?" for instance , I made a conscious decision not to put nostr there. And it wasn't easy. Finding out that was a difficult decision was very eye-openeing.
I'm saying I wish I could do more than 8 apps or do folders. I'd be fine if it was just for me. Too many encrypted messengers plus I work on my personal phone. I only need a couple more to not disrupt my workflow. I don't use any PWAs so not an issue for me.
