Technically it's not the same. There is no option to send money through tweets on Twitter just like here on Nostr. It's a shame they're using a technicality (possibility to pay for digital works) in their EULA to kill zaps... Unfortunately, I don't see things getting any better. Recent EU laws on tracking crypto will be just a drop in the sea. We would need to petition legislators to pass the laws allowing p2p money transfer, which is never going to happen unless it's traceable... It's not looking good for crypto I'm afraid...
