it's a difficult idea for me [direct pricing], because the value of things does change a lot as an example: when i first got started with bitcoin, i could spend around 3BTC to get a new TV nowadays that would get me a yacht 😹

I'm not saying you don't lower your prices. You can use the moving average and recalculate every three or four months and over time your pricing will come down. I see no problem with having spent 3 BTC on a TV as long as you spent the 3 BTC on a TV and then purchased 3.1 BTC to replace it.
