It never gets easy when people judge you.
It hurts.
It burns.
You want to retaliate and prove your innocence.
But...
How you respond will reveal your character.
It will speak volumes about you.
Step back and take a deep breath (five times).
Then...
Ask these important questions:
1. What am I feeling now? (sad, annoyed, upset, etc.)
2. Why am I feeling this? (Is it because I believe it? Why do I believe it? What memories or experiences led me to conclude my beliefs?)
3. What am I being biased about?
4. What hidden perception is the person/people trying to convey by the way they judge me?
5. Do their opinions define my reality?
By the time you have completed answering these questions, you will be in the best place to handle the situation.
Impulsively responding to situations is never wise but rather barbaric, because you let your emotions run wild and get the better of you.
You can choose to control your emotions, or "it" will control you. π«βΊοΈ

how we choose to react to judgment depicts how we think of this world. if we react lovingly, we seek for a loving world. if negatively, we believe in what we have made (the world) as real, and feel threatened by something that isnt really there
so true. and reflecting on it before responding wild is not easy either. it takes a lot of discipline and self control which is a skill in itself. βΊοΈ
