Like a cotton made flag? Use alcohol, soak in metholated spirits don't use gasoline it's dangerous, alcohol will give a nice clean long lasting burn so you can wave the burning flag around for longer.
If it's some kind of fire retardant added to a plastic flag I have no idea
I was drunk as fuck. Wasnt trying to involve flamables 🤣🤣🤣
Dont worry though, it will happen. It was given to my grandmother from the VA after grandpa passed and I believe he would understand.
