Thats the thing, Core are not the leaders. Core will hopefully fade to irrelevance.

I'm not saying they are. Its just that each of us can only do what we can do. A leader doesn't have to be an authority to be a leader. But if you're a leader, regardless of authority, you need to put your best foot forward.
There are no leaders in Bitcoin.
