I’m completely fascinated by Bitcoin.
It’s something that occupies my thoughts all the time: I go to sleep and wake up thinking about it. During workouts, I’m always listening to Bitcoin podcasts. I love reviewing my setup, and sometimes I find myself mentally reciting my private key at the most unexpected moments.
Is it normal for a beginner to spend so many hours immersed in this universe? Do those who have been in the space for longer go through the same thing — wondering how they didn’t discover it earlier and how this technology changes everything?

It’s amazing yeah. Maybe does down a bit, but never fully goes away imo
If you weren't already religious some try to fill that void with Bitcoin.
Your true psychopathy will come out when there is an 80% drawdown when denominated in dollar terms.
Or the pure unhinged excitement when a group of banks start going under - these events cause you to oddly go deeper
The “changes everything” part still freaks me out when it sneaks up in unrelated trains of thought. Lucky to have read widely and be conversant with shifts in paradigms. But yes it’s freaky.
Yes. I was like this for the first 4 years. Probably put 20hours a week listening to bitcoin books and podcast.
Now I listen to other stuff lol
