Very unpopular opinion:
IDGAF if Twitter and Facebook ask even for a DNA test to verify an account. There are a lot of things that I can't relate to, and I'm too tired to pretend that I care.
And freedom fighters have better tools than Elon and Zuck. If all you need is a Facebook account, you're not a freedom fighter.

It literally happened just last week. I wanted to give my son an Android smartphone. During setup, there was an option to create a "child account with parental supervision". I thought, okay, that sounds good.
Of course, it then asked for my Gmail address and password. I could say "that's understandable", but I'd be lying. I don't understand why they need my password as well, when they're going to create a new account anyway with its own password. But I didn't feel like arguing with the system, so I entered my password.
Then came the next step: "Prove that you're a parent by entering your credit card details".
Are you f***ing kidding me?!
