Look, it’s pretty simple: If the state can identify you, it can target and kill you. Doesn’t matter why, it just can. There is a reason Satoshi was anonymous and why bitcoin isn’t an LLC. That’s because if you don’t have a physical space or identity to be located, the state can’t physically or economically harm you. With cryptography, you actually have a shot at hiding from the state, and building things that they cannot stop.

If Satoshi had made a bitcoin LLC, what could it even do?
So how do we make sure that we can control meat space too? How do we bridge that gap? What I mean is, yes we can opt out and that's good and useful, but what about when we want to achieve things irl? Even you're using your real identity here as an example. Or do you just mean that being able to selectively keep certain things private such as transactions and private messages is enough of a shield? Just asking for clarification.
