Did nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9 send out e-mails to customers saying they can set up 2FA now?
Or were those from scammers? nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle

Nah I got one too
Can't you open the app and go to settings and check for yourself if the 2FA option is there. π€·π»ββοΈ
I did check and it wasnβt there. But the weird thing about the email is that when I first clicked the link it asked me to enter my code for the app, which I didnβt. Then I went to the app to check if the 2FA thingy was there, but it wasnβt. Then, out of curiosity I went back to the email, clicked the link again and then it opened the app.
And the mail address is a weird one too. Smells fishy, but it is opening the app. Thatβs why I am asking
It all looks legit to me. And I have the 2fa button in my security settings.
I'm pretty sure it's legit, but I hate 2FA, so... No thanks.
i got one
I also got one
Cool! Thanks
Cool! Thank you
Cool. I donβt

Oh, I love 2FA.
Alright. Thanks
Why? It's just another annoyance and attack vectors in one.
But it does make it more safe. Or would you disagree with that?
I disagree. It is intrusive nonsense.
What about today? Look at your app store if the app can be updated.
It seems to me, you don't take security seriously nostr:nprofile1qqsqdzwltpr635ehdzfd52tz947qlhq77x2c7j7yguwep9n258k2nusprdmhxue69uhhw6r9v96zu6rpwpc8jarpwejhym3wvdhj7qg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t09uq3kamnwvaz7tm5dpjkvmmjv4ehgtnwdaehgu339e3k7mf04qpewr
Can vouch for 2FA via Fido (hardware tokens) and even self-managed TOTP. I'm a fan.
I wrote a whole technical blog on TOTP if your interested :) I made it for a friend's newsletter :P

If you don't trust yubikeys there are software Fido (WebAuthn) compliant software tools. Bitwarden's web extension also does it
You are right. It was the update. Thanks
