I thought of @Ben Justman🍷 as I opened this 21 year old bottle of French merlot I bought in vanuatu for about $10. It went through a lot in the last 2 decades & I'd long ago written it off. The last 5 years it's sat vertical in the back of the cupboard. The cork came out clean & the wine was deliciously smooth. I was fine the next day but I only had 2 glasses. Wifey didn't sleep well 🤣
