I wish the government jailed homeless people more often. With the USA's low population, there are plenty enough resources in the USA that the only people who end up homeless are those who are awful at being people. Like people who spend lots of money on drugs, people who act anti-socially, people who wear out their welcome with all of their friends and family, hypocondriacs who refuse to experience sickness even if it means avoiding opportunities to contribute to society, moochers who rely on other people's money without ever giving something those people want in return, losers who don't respect the laws or the law enforcement of the country in which they reside, people who live inside their own head rather than on the objective reality around them, people who loiter on public and private property without a purpose, and so much more. I wish we lived in a country where the best compete against the best, where the worst have to be ejected straight into any country who will take them, (or prison if none will) and where even people in prison have to be put to work to avoid starvation. It's an insult to conviction that we live in a world so devoid of natural hardship. The lies people tell themselves wouldn't last nearly as long in a world like that I don't think.
