I don't understand why the risks are always attributed into ‘crypto’ either. The day encryption is broken, then everything breaks. If someone honestly thinks one industry is ‘done for’ and cannot see it is wider than that, then I don;t know what to do with that, other than say HFSP 🤣

The attribution makes perfect sense to me, as an english speaker. "Crypto" and "Encryption" are literally related concepts; they're basically the same word.
