Something I noticed over the years. Rich people rarely speak in a direct manner. Everything is subtext. This is for a variety of reasons.
- Intellectual filtering
- Plausible deniability
- Hide intentions from one another
Itβs also why meetings with these types often seem to go on for hours for no apparent reason.

My single meeting with a billionaire confirms this anecdotally. I've never been so frustrated and confused.
You gotta cue into the subtext next time. Things will make more sense.
Rich people in a fiat economy are political animals. that's why.
Absolutely
Also:
- optionality, avoiding commitment
I'd imagine those people are bombarded with "proposals" day in day out.
Good point.
I think this also applies to individuals that are well established within their company, or social group.
The fiat mindset permeates and radiates bull shit through the individuals that practice and perfect tbe playing of the fiat game.
What do you mean by intellectual filtering?
If I use 10 dollar words and you canβt pick up what Iβm saying than you arenβt smart enough to be trusted with high level tasks. From their perspective of course.
Symbolism will be their downfall.
Got it. Spot on, seen that done in several ways
Plausible deniability is my fav, they put very little in writing
Nice thanx
