I don't remember saying that they should care. Mostly I've been hoping that people care so that I could get some kind of answer to my questions. Though in their shoes I'd probably see it as a great opportunity to talk about my beliefs, and if they challenge me at all, to give a practical demonstration of how robust and useful my beliefs are.
