Thanks for the shoutout Rup! I understand (we have tropical milkweed) that as long as you cut them back to 10” above the ground before Halloween that the Monarchs benefit. If you leave them blooming after that, the butterflies lay their eggs and the eggs will die in the freeze/frosts. It is good to have these convos so we can compare notes. My source is a botanist who gave me the plants, which we gather seed from every year.
