You cannot raise your children the way your parents raised you. Because your parents raised you for a world that no longer exists.

Our diet and lifestyle must adapt, just like our ancestors did, to thrive in this new world, starting with a return to whole animal foods.
So true. My belief is that civilization is built by fathers trying to prepare their sons for the world and where it is going. There is no greater skin in the game. I may get flack for gendering that, but men face the world in a unique way, in general. And the record bears it out. When men are doing this civilizations rise. When they are not, civilizations fall.
I worry, sometimes, that I prepared my daughter for a world which she isn't going to see. It's a danger of the times we live in, perhaps, with how quickly it's all changing, but maybe I should have had more foresight. Luckily learning is a lifelong opportunity, so she can pivot, evolve and adapt. I hope I gave her those skills, sufficiently, as well.

that's a silly reason, and addiction isn't genetic anyway. as an addict myself, from parents who aren't, I can assure you its something learned.

raise your kids with critical thinking skills, good manners, a sense of self worth, and teach them to be adaptable. its not hard. if you're trying to teach them to choose a career and be a wage slave all their life and retire with the gold watch then you're doing it wrong regardless of howbthe world changes.

The trick is to prepare them for life to the best of your ability with the knowledge and wisdom that you have gained from experience, while understanding that your opportunity to learn from them is far greater than their opportunity to learn from you. That is their power and you must let them have it.
That is everyone’s worry that has children. Did I do enough? Work with what you have and trust that’ll it work. Help them along the way. 👊🏼
