I sent my very first ember today on #Monstr. I had never zapped anybody in the past because I had no desire to create a lightning wallet and deal with #Bitcoin

Been sending them too using the external wallet feature. I'm glad we have options on what we can send through different apps. I still send zaps if they don't have XMR setup.
What I find odd is that I created my Ember wallet, and it told me the restore height was like 150,000 blocks behind the current block height.
Yeah I set the restore hight to right around the time I started the wallet. It was trying to sync way too much and only ever got 1% done even leaving it open for hours
I generated a brand new wallet for the app. I did not restore a wallet at all. It was just a completely fresh brand new one. And yet it still put the restore height 150,000 blocks back, or whatever. Which I find to be extremely odd.

theres just a week buffer safety window, you can restore that wallet with a preferred restore height whenever you want. I'm very confused at 150k blocks behind?
I set monstr previously but does it still use bunker/amber?
I am using it with amber, yes. Because I do not put my NSEC into things directly
Same. Monstr Through the browser? I used monstr.land a few weeks ago but it seems to no longer have amber option now.
