People got this weird idea after segwit that a “UASF” is this magic thing where a bunch of people on social media get together and start making threats and suddenly Bitcoin’s consensus rules will change.
That’s nonsense. I’m sorry if you were told that the thing that activated Segwit was a UASF and nothing else but you were lied to.

Didn't the uasf never even get used?
The Local Bitcoin Meetup Groups spread this idea
BIP110 is still there and won't stop trying. If needed WITHOUT letting know what they are ( like Core opening gates for garbage in a stealth way abusing the trust of Core runners including myself ). Filtration will continue. Propagation of polluted blocks will be more difficult until node runners storage will get used for the original purpose ONLY.
Time will tell if Bitcoin will be coopted and finally die or it will come up stronger and appreciated even more from the market.
They don't understand the bitcoin security model.
Neither do you.
Read about BIP91 and why it exists.
Oh yeah? What am I missing? Be specific.
The security model hinges on the nodes ability to to dictate rules of a network.
If:
- Nodes don't matter unless they are exchanges or miners,
- If UASFs fail WITHOUT nodes employing URSFs,
- Miners can ignore enforcement due to ambivalent nodes,
Then:
Miners control the network. And who are miners? Those with the most Electricity and Machines. Who has the most Electricity and Machines? Governments or their proxies.

lol, no. The security model hinges on it being *hard to change* Bitcoin’s rules. That applies equally to miners as to random nodes.
Ah yes "Hard" the well defined parameter. I remember seeing that in the code:
If ( softfork = hard)
{
DO;
}
else
{
DONT DO;
}
return 'to fiat';
Then convince people why it's best. Don't call them pedos, make stupid claims, deny a fork will happen, exclude and tell miners they are irrelevant, etc...
No issues. At less than 1sat/vb, I could personally care less about bytes of data in the block chain..at 100, they stop long term. The rate of growth of the blockchain size isn't changing much at all, on par really.
Do better if you want to make a change.
I’m embarrassed to admit I recognize this fatty
I had a weird idea that Bitcoin could avoid capture and be decentralized hard money, and plebs would rise to the occasion when it got attacked by devs more interested in tokenized assets and vc funding than separating money and state. I was wrong. Bitcoin will degrade into just another scammy shitcoin project driven by Wall Street. Disappointing but it is what it is. I admit defeat. Your buddy Lopp was right, we're all shitcoiners now.
man i was just trying to remember where i put my keys back then
Stop and actually think about it instead of being retarded.
People, don't, want, to, host, childporn, on, their, nodes,...
That's why node runners mostly took one side, while miners whos only motivation is to get paid took the orher side.
Dear whatever...
You seem to be not sober and I feel for you when getting a rude awakening of fully controlled Bitcoin from the rich minority. Uncensored, decentralized, neutral ( same rules for all - no exceptions) that was the main component of its appreciation from nothing to today's prices is gone with the Saturday's miners disobedience. The servant turned to master. It's a repeated history. You have not learned the lesson yet.
