β™₯ Maybe clients need some kind of local classifier to automatically warn you about nsfw. If it all it does is classify, it could run easilty on a phone. Certainly better than asking people to tag for your sensibilities.
I must admit that in this respect, I am a normie. But I genuinely believe that you only hurt yourself by asking people you follow to post in a way that doesn't offend your sensibilities. If the person you're following has no value then don't follow them. If their posts have value to you, you will hurt that value by trying to make them post politely. β™₯
Even 4chan has blue boards for SFW and pink boards for NSFW. We don’t want to cause problems for relay operators and it costs nothing to be nice with other people and tag your stuff properly.
hahal, the blue boards may seem like a good point but those are for advertisers the relay point is equally backwards, the fact that some relays may just ban posts that some find objectionable is a good argument against asking the people you follow to tag tp your sensibilities. just read from the resteictive relays if you care about that.
