Should one go to a conference if they don't want to be known?
You're in a public space. Wear a face covering. Expecting others to not take photos is absurd.

Conferences are usually private events where organisers can set the rules.
There's a difference between expecting some general, less recognizable crowd pictures, and getting your face actively singled out and doxxed.
It's also not about taking pictures but about posting them.
It's good manners for the cypherpunks. Doesn't apply to normies
