during lunch today, @npub1jrcf...jdcc and i were discussing prices and inflation (as one does). the price of eggs are fucking wild. $8.98 for 18 eggs? 2 years ago we were paying $2.52 for 18 eggs. before Trump was elected we were paying $3.56 for 18 eggs. wild. #thanksTrump (and also thanks Walmart order history!)

I can’t speak for every country in Europe. But a quick Google search tells me in England “It is currently illegal to vaccinate birds in England unless they are in a zoo and that developing a suitable vaccine is some way off". I think the underlying issues is mutations. So they cull them or “stamp them out”. Anyways. Just shitposting.
If they find even one bird on a farm with bird flu they auto-murder every chicken on the farm. Keep in mind they are using a test that is known to produce false positives (a feature not a bug for these psychopaths). 100 million plus birds have been murdered over the past few years, and it wasn't necessary. Natural immunity for the birds is/was the answer - but then the psychopaths wouldn't be able to wreck havic on us peasants with their evil agenda. The psychopaths are now pushing to have every chicken vaccinated which won't work and will only make this current nonexistent problem an actual problem (where have we seen this before 🙄) All that to say this is why we are seeing the price of eggs skyrocketing. It didn't need to be this way. My blood is boiling 🤬
I always thought many European countries vaccinated against salmonella. I could be wrong but I swear I read that many many years ago. I didn't Google. Just from a decade ago research memory.
A series of unfortunate circumstance is causing this and there is currently no end in sight , price might get a lot higher you might see 20, and if trump follows his ego of not delivering cheap eggs he might start printing $ and subsidizing it to make it happen , and thats also the last thing we want .
See our eggs went up to $6/18 back in august and then the week after trump took office they shot up to $9 and now they are back down between $6-7

Costco had 18 for like 8 bucks on Sunday when I was there. The limit was 3. They were what we call baking eggs in our house. We passed. Walking out I was looking at everyone’s cart and they all had 3. 54 eggs a shopper. Lol. People are wildly selfish in scarce times.
They have came a long ways on their meat... Back in my bachelor days I would go buy their hot pink/red dyed ribeyes for such a "killer" price... And they somehow had like a month or so out expiration dates on them.... That was back in the 2005 era.... RFK would be ashamed of me.

The arrival of D1.1 could signify a turning point in the H5N1 outbreak. Over December and January, owners of commercial, backyard, and hobbyist chicken flocks had to cull 41.4 million birds because of influenza exposure—three times more than the same period last year. The past two months are the most destructive stretch of the North American outbreak, which initially arrived three years ago via migrating wild birds from Europe. Thanks for your going away. President Biden With Trump in office, we're actually taking an approach to the avian bird flu appropriately looking at the wild Canadian goose and ducks and how to keep them away from a population of chickens which is sequestered in place to stop this
If you live in a house they love to bake, and cook you definitely need cheeper eggs and we can only get this directly from the egg producer 🐔 There's work and you need to protect them from predators for sure with technology like you did but even if the price would be there there the home made eggs always taste better. At least you know with what your chickens are feed with.

I'm confused by the 🤣🤣🤣 trump is far from awesome but I'm calling balls and strikes and a simple look at any government reported numbers from the department of agriculture point directly to this taking place prior to the inauguration
My dad has his own chicken. The Eggs are way more expensive as 50 cent. So a Egg under 50 cent is just bad and I dońt wanna eat this.
I've been screenshotting others too the past couple years because I've always been curious on prices. I started doing this when my friend @B-rad started talking about his daily or weekly food orders. He always bought the same thing every day or week for work and would gradually see prices go up. So I started documenting it then too.
Might need a fact check but supposedly there has never been a hen by-law in NYC. Surely your town can approve!!! 🥚🥚🍳🐓

But how do we know which is the real one and which are the clones? I am thinking battle royale. Last Derek Ross standing is the real one.
Gotta say, as much as I love Amethyst, I don't use it for finding a profile unless it is someone I am already following. When I am trying to make sure I find the correct profile, and not an impostor, I use #Coracle.

This is true. Unless your Nostr private key was compromised by a rogue hacker, or AI agent. Then right now we are talking to the fake Derek Ross while the real one tries to reclaim their stolen Nostr identity in vain. The only way now to move forward is to give all the Dereks a fighting chance in the ring. The first Nostr Battle Royale. This event will be livestreamed on 4/20 and all zaps will be awarded to the new Derek Ross Prime as the grand prize. Whether it is you, or someone else. Here is a new Legendary Meme to help motivate the real Derek Ross to start their training montage now. May the best Derek win. image
Up until 5 years ago we had chickens. We sold our excess eggs for £1 ($1.30) for a box of 6. They were totally free range and the yolks were orange.
