Maybe in the St. John's wart genus, Hypericum. Some are known to bloom into November. 5 yeloow petals, many (more than 10) stamen. Leaves are lance-like and arranged opposite the stem (on either side, as opposed to alternate arrangement).

If you can remove a mature flower and count the stamen, we could narrow it further. Some suggest Mexican terragon, which has only 5 stamen. Your pics aren't detailed enough to tell definitively, ut I was under the impression that the stamen are many.

Not hypercium. Pretty familiar with that genus. The dang upload onto nostr downgraded the quality othe pictures. Im going to try and upload higher quality
