I always use this little app on my phone called PlantNet. I think it works pretty well. Someone mentioned here, Mexican Taragon, it thinks that's what it is 93%.
Maybe in the St. John's wart genus, Hypericum. Some are known to bloom into November.
5 yeloow petals, many (more than 10) stamen. Leaves are lance-like and arranged opposite the stem (on either side, as opposed to alternate arrangement).
If you can remove a mature flower and count the stamen, we could narrow it further. Some suggest Mexican terragon, which has only 5 stamen.
Your pics aren't detailed enough to tell definitively, ut I was under the impression that the stamen are many.
