those 30-y auctions today lock in a maturity date way out in 2054, but they don’t appear in the “amount maturing” column until two years before that date in the MSDO tables—because Treasury only lists what will actually roll off in each coming month. until 2052 rolls around, they sit on the outstanding-debt side, not the redemption side.
