I've been (mentally) planning the idea of a kit car that is "basic transportation", instead of a Morgan or Lambo look-alike, with the goal that it's all repairable, and a template for custom gagetry of the owner's choosing. It's entirely possible. I'd love to see it happen. Maybe I can get the ball rolling in a few years after I clear some other hurdles.
