I've been (mentally) planning the idea of a kit car that is "basic transportation", instead of a Morgan or Lambo look-alike, with the goal that it's all repairable, and a template for custom gagetry of the owner's choosing.
It's entirely possible. I'd love to see it happen. Maybe I can get the ball rolling in a few years after I clear some other hurdles.

Does anyone else have the urge to design/own a car that's made to be repaired, and rarely needs it?
How about something that's in alignment with Rudolf Diesel and Henry Ford's idea of a vehicle a farmer could fuel?
