Physical #Bitcoin is a better moniker than self custody IMHO, as "physically holding bitcoin" obviously refers to maintaining personal, physical control over Bitcoin keys.

"Self custody" sounds like something a judge orders. "Physical Bitcoin" just works because humans trust what they can hold. 10,000 years of gold psychology rewired in one steel plate.
