What’s everyone cooking for Christmas / Eve?
I’m bringing assorted miniature quiches to brunch tomorrow.

Oh I saw that too 😂 I meant the meal size containers
Oh LOL I literally just replied to your other post, and thought this was in that thread
Prime rib tomorrow. Ham and Lutefisk on Christmas.
We're cooking a big pot of venison chili for christmas day.
Nice I just made a big pot of chili with all the leftover frozen turkey from Thanksgiving
Nice. Also doing a ham for Christmas dinner.
I think I’ve had Lutefisk - it’s cured cod? Never tried to make anything like that
Whole sirloin on the 25th. Still trying to convince the family to roast not bbq
Yep, cured in lye. Basically a jello'd fish. We boil it up and then mix it in with a cream sauce.
Interesting. I do love cured fish, but I’m always skeptical of combining seafood and dairy products 😂
I have come around to it a bit with some Northeastern US classics like New England Chowder. I’m sure yours is delicious too, enjoy 🤙
I feel like roasting is a must in the winter months. We do the prime rib in the oven. 350F for a hour and then turn it down to 140F and just let it go until internal temp hits.
My 6 year old daughter politely asked for spaghetti and I don't have any better ideas.
