Hundreds of thousands of streams for Spotify! Thousands of streams on Tidal. Millions of views of hundreds of users using your song on TikTok. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

So damn cool! Thanks for tuning in and zapping πŸ€™
Same here Joe, I’ve got tracks on streaming platforms like Spotify and for sale on beatport and traxsource to name a few, under my real name and….crickets…nothing. Enter Wavlake and Nostr and I finally feel heard and seen. I decided to create this alias of mine to be nostr only, Wavlake, fountain.fm,rss, open distribution, bitcoin only. Never releasing anything on fiat clown world platforms ever again, personally. Long live art! Long live the underground!
That sucks and knowing you have friends also watching and we can't see each other sucks. Had that happen with Joe Matin last night. A few friends were watching it and some didn't show up in the chat for me in NoStrudel. Makes you wonder if zaps are also being missed or failing. 🧐 Everyone just use Primal I guess.
I wonder what client she was using. Possibly a bug in the chat implementation. Worth looking into, it's possible there are interoperability problems between clients, Nostr is rife with them. The nip does show that relays should be specified, and clients should stick to them.
Checking the stream on Amethyst I don't see anything from her either. There is a bug I've experienced in the current Amethyst to do with chat stream comments. It's possible her comments were never sent if she is experiencing the same bug. @Vitor Pamplona
I don't know this was last night so I don't know if that stuff is stored. We were having issues so a few of us were asking if we could see each other. lol. all of this back channeling was on an IRC server that never had this issue. πŸ˜‚
On noStrudel go to settings -> content policies. Set "events" to 6 to display events from everyone. As for Primal, I've been told that the app has it's own (user) chat settings. I'd suggest that Primal users take a look at those.
Possible the world of relays has many mysteries. To of my friends follow each other on nostr. They use the same clients and they're using (mostly) the same relays. They can see each other fine across the nostr network but they cannot see each other in the zap.stream chat and this has been a thing for like a year. They do see each other in chat on other apps. we've done tons of troubleshooting over time with no joy. It's just the way it is.
